What Customers Say About Keep Your Brain Alive: 83 Neurobic Exercises:

The author provided both well documented and easy to understand and follow exercises that are at the same time enjoyable to perform. A very easy and informative read. Purchase motovation was for use by my wife and myself in our lives after 70 and as a resource for our daughter who experienced a closed head brain injury in an automobile accdident.

Dr. Brushing my teeth left-handed is feasible, showering with my eyes closed is doable, but putting Velcro on my gear shift or eating my supper in silence with my family is not. It's called neurobics and it is all about exercising different, less-used parts of the brain, re-growing brain cells, and reconnecting brain circuitry in the process.

Some of the ideas are worthy and others may be impractical, for me anyway. But I like the idea of creativity, and the book gave me some ideas to start from. Being more social is a great idea.

What would you think of a strategy of making your daily routines more interesting and improving your memory and mental capabilities at the same time. By spicing up our routines, we can increase our mentality; at least, that is what the book is about.I thought the book was interesting and it did get me thinking. Now if it only works.

The idea is to approach your dull, daily routines with fresh ideas and to look for ways of including all of your senses. Katz says that a lot of what we do routinely, including TV watching, is brain-deadening and almost sub-conscious.

I was hoping the exercizzes in this book could curb some of that. I got this book for my dad whos in his late 50s. Hes at the point now where he can pass for being normal and is in total denial but one day I know because of his terrible habits now will be just like his mom and have dementia.

A good start to understanding the field of neurobics. I liked Katz's book. A simple explanation of concepts and suggestions about how to stretch your brain and keep it healthy.

Arnold "Keep Your Brain Alive" is pretty much what I expected. Explains(simple/effective)ways of creating new neural pathways performing routine(mundane) activities.
